From Runway to Reality – The Most Wearable Fashion Trends of 2025

We are not too keen on discussing trends as they tend to fade after some time. However, dressing up should still be fun and a way to express your personality and make you feel good about yourself.

We picked some trends that don’t necessarily require new clothes but give you inspiration and new ideas on how to combine and use items you might already own. Seeing something in a new way can widen your perspective on style and have fun with it.

New Neutrals

When you think about neutrals, you think of black, white, grey, and beige. But in 2025 some new neutrals are joining the crew.

Leo pattern has been steadily trending already in 2024 and is taking its place as a new neutral. Burgundy has sneaked into accessories, such as shoes and bags, and sage and olive have become stable in everybody’s wardrobe.

To stay in the curve of trendiest colors, try these: Beige is switching this season to more yellowish. Think about creamy vanilla yellow but also bold saffron. The Pantone’s color of the year is Mocha Mousse and it represents a sophisticated, nuanced neutral that captures the complexity of contemporary design and fashion.

Pilates Princess

Athleisure, which is a contemporary style of wearing sports clothing like leggings in everyday outfits, has already become popular in recent years and isn’t going anywhere any time soon. The style is getting heavily influenced now by trending pilates, ballet, and yoga.

Soft wrap tops, yoga jumpsuits, comfortable body suits, and leggings are your go-to. The boldest can even rock a tutu or a body on top of leggings.

Creative Layering

The Y2K trend of combining skirts or dresses over pants is becoming more mainstream this year. This is a trend that makes you look at your clothes in a new light and have some fun with them.

Time to leave any childhood fashion flashbacks behind and step out of your comfort zone. The easy first step is adding an a-line dress over flare pants and combining pants with the same colored skirt or dress.
