The idea of Copenhagen Cartel was born in Bali, brought to life in Copenhagen, and continues its growth internationally.

In 2020, Katrine and her dear friend Martin launched their passion project. Their love for the oceans and their well-being gave them the strength to set up Copenhagen Cartel alongside their full-time jobs.

In the background was Katrine's experience in Bali, where she was paddling in the waves amidst natural beauty and found herself surrounded by plastic.

Copenhagen Cartel believes that we all need to take care of our oceans. That's why the brand focuses on transforming waste into new products that create value.

Copenhagen Cartel produces sustainable swimwear, sportswear, and leisurewear from innovative eco-materials. The brand's products are characterized by durability and versatility: simple design and, for example, a high sun protection factor in some of the swimwear.

Through the 1% for the Planet movement, Copenhagen Cartel donates 1% of its annual revenue to approved non-profit environmental organizations.
