bobbin & tricot

bobbin & tricot

The French bobbin & tricot specializes in innovative regenerated cashmere and responsible knitwear fashion.

The brand embodies understated luxury, natural tones, and handcrafted embroidery from Paris.

Bobbin & tricot has its roots in children’s fashion, but today offers unisex clothing, accessories, and home decor for adults as well.

The story of bobbin & tricot began in 1970s Paris, where a local workshop dressed children in contemporary styles of the time. In the 2010s, Valerie Toyomura-Provot, who studied fashion for years in Tokyo, continued the brand where her mother-in-law left off. Valerie’s ideology is rooted in bobbin & tricot’s original values, with a focus on timeless sophistication, exclusively knitwear, and natural fibers.

Bobbin & tricot’s cashmere products are crafted from raw fiber traceable to the Inner Mongolia region. The brand partners with the Good Cashmere Standard®, Sustainable Fiber Alliance, and Responsible Wool Standard.

The cashmere used by bobbin & tricot comes from farms that adhere to the highest standards in animal welfare and environmental practices, ensuring transparency throughout the supply chain.
