Jalo Living is a Finnish clothing brand and atelier sewing company that wants to offer its customers wardrobe treasures.
Jalo Living was born from founder Jonna's dream of building a collection of trusted clothes, so that you never have to worry about not finding a great piece of clothing in your wardrobe again.
Jalo Living's clothing and home textiles are made primarily from linen. As a versatile and ecological natural material, Jonna believes linen deserves to be seen and used. Jalo Living also uses other responsible natural materials in its products.
The story of Jalo Living begins with the founder's personal awakening to the problems of the clothing industry. Jonna woke up to the problems after the Rana Plaza disaster in 2013. Before the devastating disaster, Jonna had been a shopaholic, but it was then that she began to think about where clothes were made, under what conditions, by whom and how.
Jalo Living is Jonna's long-formed conclusion of a responsible and sustainable way of dressing and living. Jalo combines quality and eco-friendly materials, local craftsmanship, sustainable design, listening to and caring for customers, adaptability and approachability.
