Tallinn-based knitwear brand ÄRNI BLUM has been operating since 2017 - previously under the name NirgiWabrik. ÄRNI BLUM makes stunning designer knitwear for women, men, and children - locally handcrafted in Saaremaa.
The knitwear and the knitted accessories are usually made to order, so you often have to wait a while for your knitwear from ÄRNI BLUM. For ÄRNI BLUM, making to order is a responsibility that also adds to the uniqueness of each piece.
ÄRNI BLUM strives for zero waste production. When knitwear is made to order according to size, material requirements can be matched and minimized. However, if surplus material is generated, ÄRNI BLUM's production creatively incorporates the waste material into other products.
ÄRNI BLUM knitwear is characterized by organic and certified materials, high quality, individual style, specific colors, and details, and, above all, comfort.
For ÄRNI BLUM, material quality and durability are of paramount importance. The brand's yarns are mostly sourced from Italy and Japan.
ÄRNI BLUM (NirgiWabrik) has its origins in the knitting hobby of its founder Johanna. The brand has grown and expanded from knitted hats to a wider knitwear collection including larger knitted garments.
ÄRNI BLUM as a name belonged to Johanna's grandfather, who was an elegant and kind-hearted gentleman. He loved creativity, craftsmanship, beauty and timeless elegance.
