The term "Suzani" comes from the Persian word "suzan," meaning needle. A Suzani is a decorative textile that is hand-embroidered, originating from Central Asia. These large textile panels were traditionally created by nomadic tribes and played a key role in their daily lives, serving as tablecloths, bed linens, prayer mats, or seating.
