We are happy to introduce our own Scandinavian Easter Bunny; Jenni Rotonen of Pupulandia blog! Pupulandia translated from Finnish to English means “The Bunny-land” and together we wanted to raise awareness towards nature in our this year’s Easter campaign.
We want to keep the forests in a habitable state for plants, trees and its inhabitants.
Deforestation is a global issue, but what is it? A simple definition is that areas that used to be rich in different species of trees and plants are turning into a empty space, as we are cutting down the trees more than what we are planting. This act has a huge impact on the ecosystem of our planet as 70% of our known animal species are living in forests, especially in tropical forests such as Amazon or mountain rain forests in Kinabalu. We want to keep the forests in a habitable state for plants, trees and its inhabitants.
Art has always been inspired by nature. The floral print is one of recurring trends in fashion that comes back groundbreakingly every spring. Humans and animals have always been inspired and affected by each other, which we can see in the earliest artworks made by human - the cave paintings.
