FAÇON JACMIN

Belgian designer Alexandra Jacmin and her entrepreneur twin sister Ségolène Jacmin established their label FAÇON JACMIN in 2016. After graduating from La Cambre, Alexandra worked for Maison Martin Margiela and Jean-Paul Gaultier. The duo has since carved out a unique position amongst Belgium’s most innovative emerging talents.

The brand aims to break the restraint of fashion, by diversifying and sophisticating denim, and proposes three types of collections. A collection of ready-to-wear timeless pieces of clothing for women - not affected by the passage of time - as well as seasonal collections. And lastly, eco-conscious capsule collections of up-cycled artisanal designs that are crafted by hand in our Paris atelier. If denim remains the field of predilection in Alexandra’s collections, other fabrics are intertwined with it to present a more decisive and playful silhouette.

Essentially influenced by the 70s and 90s, Alexandra’s designs explore the concepts of masculinity, femininity, and seduction. Denim is brought to a charismatic revival through a desire for fluidity and lightness – a vision for a modern, desirable and determined woman.
