IVALO.COM launched a new #betterdenim campaign to introduce the sustainable jeans selection of this autumn – and it has been a success! People want to see more healthiness, transparency and ecology in the denim industry.
Trending: loose fit and undyed denim
This autumn, different kinds of loose fit designs are in fashion. On the rise is also undyed denim of which the light ivory shade ecru is the most wanted right now.
When the traditional indigo dye is skipped in the denim production process, it saves a lot of water, energy, and operations. The carbon footprint of jeans gets smaller as the emissions decrease.

An absolute eco-denim pioneer Kuyichi presents the most wanted jeans design at IVALO.COM, Nora. It comes with slightly tapered legs, high waist, and 5 pockets.
Nora is extremely comfortable to wear and available in many different colors and washes. The classic Heritage blue is the most popular shade. When it comes to Nora’s sizing, we recommend you choose one size smaller than you normally would. Made of 100% recycled cotton.
Kings of Indigo founder Tony Tonnaer has worked passionately for a long time to develop more ecological denim materials, alongside practices to produce sustainable jeans.
Jane is a classic 5-pocket design by Kings of Indigo, with high waist and topical straight loose cut. Besides blue denim, there are more options for color – for example, the super-popular grey shade. Jane is made of 100% recycled cotton.
Straight cut, non-stretchy jeans are IN. Like Kings of Indigo, Mud Jeans from the Netherlands presents a wide selection of urban denim designs as well.
High-waisted, straight-legged Mimi jeans are made of 60% organic cotton and 40% recycled cotton. The light blue wash is as beautiful as the summer sky.
Sun Stone is the lightest denim shade of Mud Jeans. Its durability is achieved by using ecological bio-enzymes. Mimi jeans are ankle-length and go perfectly with sneakers or combat boots.
Swedish I Dig Denim Harper Wide is one of the best designs of the season. Harpers are made of cotton – with a dash of elastane to give them some nice stretch.
Harpers are easy to wear with tees and sneakers but are suitable for a more dressed look combined with a blazer, a collared shirt, or a stylish sweater.
Kings of Indigo Juno is a perfect design for those who don’t want to jump into the wide-leg train. Juno is a classic 5-pocket medium-waist narrow cut, but not slim-fit. You could call Juno a traditional everywhere denim – it feels awesome to wear and just get better with time.
There is also the Juno High version available if you’d like a higher waist. The materials vary between different designs and dyes, so check the sustainable materials of your choice in the product card.
Balloon style Leila has a high and loose waist, while the legs are a bit more narrow. The balloon is a plumpish carrot design that usually comes in a slightly cropped length.
Leila is a relaxed, topical, and comfy everyday pair of jeans made of organic cotton. You can choose from many different shades – IVALO.COM’s favorite Leila is a traditionally worn-down wash Eco Recycled Blue Used.
The Finnish fashion house Voglia presents Holly jeans, made of safe and sustainable Oeko-Tex certified cotton. The high-waisted 5-pocket design comes in an ice-blue shade.
Holly has a relaxed fit with tapered legs and can be used at home, at work, or at leisure. It’s easy to combine Holly with various tops from blazers to sweaters. We recommend you choose a bit smaller size than you normally would.
