Mohair is a yarn from Angora goats known for its special softness, luster and durability. Mohair is hypoallergenic and provides excellent thermal insulation. The yarn is strong and durable, so the sweaters retain their beauty and shape for a long time. The mohair yarn used by Nakoa comes from Turkey and is certified with the RMS (Responsible Mohair Standard) certificate, which guarantees ethical and environmentally friendly production. A mohair knit may shed some hair when new, like wool fibers in general. Regular soft brushing, however, reduces the excess fiber from the material.

Air between uses. Mohair is not recommended to be washed in water, but if you wash it by hand or in a wool wash, for example, it is good to dry it inside a towel by gently squeezing it and then flat drying it.
