French brand Kwash encourages you to look after your sneakers and trainers with care and love. Kwash teaches you how to maintain, repair, and sustainably clean your shoes - and according to the shoes' individual needs.

The brand believes that you should only own what you can and want to take care of responsibly and invest the time and energy to do so. Everything else can be gotten rid of.

Kwash promises you'll be amazed at how your sneakers will stay beautiful, functional, and look like new even after years of use - with proper maintenance.

The story began in Seoul, where Louis and Yann met by chance in 2019 when they were still students and both living their passion: sneakers.

United by a shared enthusiasm for sneaker culture, they started exchanging grandma's recipes, specialty products, and dry cleaning addresses but were not satisfied with the supply.

Yann also suffered from skin allergies when using sneaker-cleaning products. Products made in Asia, for example, were plagued by harmful ingredients and an almost total lack of regulation.

Louis and Yann decided to surround themselves with experts and artisans from all over France to create local products that were as effective as they were natural. Kwash wants to enable year-round cleaning of sneakers without harm to the wearer or the planet.
