MANDALA

The wellnesswear brand MANDALA from Munich, Germany, has focused on carefully selected materials and fair production since 2001. Successful in German-speaking Europe, MANDALA offers a wide range of women's leisurewear for the gym, pilates, gentle exercise, running, home and holiday.

MANDALA's collection is easy to combine with everyday outfits. The materials are soft and innovative: certified organic cotton, TENCEL™ Lyocell and GRS-certified recycled polyester.

Sportswear that respects the people who make it has traditionally been hard to find.

MANDALA's founder Nathalie Prieger grew up in Iran, sewed her first outfits at 14 and studied fashion design in Paris. Working in fashion in the West, she saw how production costs were pushed down to raise profits, while long stays in India deepened her love of yoga. MANDALA was born from both: a passion for yoga and India, and the wish to make fairer fashion.

MANDALA works with long-term production partners in Izmir, Turkey, and near Shanghai, China. All three production sites are GOTS-certified, and the two in Turkey are also amfori BSCI audited. MANDALA visits its producers regularly and publishes their average wages and working hours.

As both a brand and a company, MANDALA genuinely cares about the people who make and wear its clothes.
