IVALO.COM (Site) is operated by Pearl & Starr Enterprises Oy (we, us, our). Our VAT number is 2693545-3 and our registered office is at Lapinlahdenkatu 16, 00180 Helsinki, Finland. The Site brings our network of brand partners (Vendors) together to help visitors who visit our Website (you, your) to purchase selected products featured within our platform. The purchasing takes place directly from the Vendor that is represented at IVALO.COM platform.

The purchase of any product(s) offered on this Site (Products) is subject to these Terms and Conditions. By placing an order for any Product you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. So please, read these Terms and Conditions carefully. 

The use of your personal information submitted to or via the Site, is governed by our Privacy Policy. 

We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions from time to time. No such change will affect any order placed prior to the change. The date of the most recent revision will appear on the top of this page. Continued use of this Site and the service it provides will constitute your acceptance to any change or revision of these Terms and Conditions.

The relationship between IVALO.COM and the Vendors offering Products on the Site 

IVALO.COM operates its Site as an online platform to bring together buyers and sellers. The businesses selling goods through the Site are called Vendors in these Terms and Conditions. IVALO.COM is not a Vendor. Therefore, we are not responsible for the Products, nor for the sales, delivery, returns, guarantees, warranties or other after-sale care of the Products. Our role is solely to introduce potential buyers to Vendors through the Site and perform certain functions to enable buyers to buy Products and deal with certain after-sale issues.

When you purchase a Product at IVALO.COM you buy directly from the Vendor, not from us. The Vendor is responsible for the sale, delivery and any after sale care. IVALO.COM’s role is limited to acting as an agent for the Vendor to conclude the sale of their Product(s). We merely accept your order and collect your payment on the Vendor's behalf. Our receipt of full payment from you will discharge your debt to the Vendor. Though we may assist with after care issues on behalf of the Vendors, we assume no liability towards you regarding the Products.

Each sale forms a legally binding contract (Contract) between you and the Vendor. Terms and Conditions and any possible other Vendor terms that appear on the page for the Product(s) concerned shall be applied to the Contract. IVALO.COM is not a party to the Contract. Such sale is subject to your usual statutory rights.

Customer Requirements

By placing an order, you are making a legal commitment that you have the authority to accept

these Terms and Conditions and to purchase the Product.

You must be 18 years of age or older to use our Site. By purchasing a Product, you confirm


  1. all information you provide is correct and accurate;
  2. you are 18 years of age or older;
  3. you are authorised to use the credit or debit card, or the online payment method used to purchase the Product; and
  4. there are sufficient funds in the relevant account to cover all costs required for settling the order.

Ordering and Availability

Prior to placing your first order, two options are presented. These are either to proceed to the checkout as a guest user, or register to create an account and proceed to checkout. Should you choose the latter of the two, you will be able to access your account at any time by using your login details (email address and password). Please see our Privacy and Cookies Policy for details about the personal information we collect from you and how we use that information.

Users can keep selected Product(s) in their basket until they leave the Site. Only registered users will be able to see the Products in their basket upon returning to the Site. In cases of prolonged inactivity when placing an order, it is possible that selected Product(s) may no longer be available. In such a case, you will be invited to begin your selection of Products over again.

Products may be ordered by selecting the items you wish to purchase and following the prompts that will appear on-screen. You have the opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until the point at which you submit your order by selecting the ‘Pay Now’  button on the checkout page. 

IVALO.COM and the Vendors will not be held responsible for input errors created by you, nor for any subsequent delivery delays or errors. Different Vendors have different mechanisms for dealing with order mistakes. If you make a mistake in your order, please contact IVALO.COM Customer Care: info@ivalo.com.

Once an order has been placed, you will receive an email from IVALO.COM acknowledging that we have received your order by providing you with an order reference number. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to IVALO.COM to buy a Product. All orders are subject to acceptance by IVALO.COM (on behalf of the relevant Vendor). We reserve the right not to submit your order to our Vendors, and the Vendors reserve the right not to accept your order if, for example, the Product ordered is not available, your payment has not been authorized, or if you do not meet the eligibility criteria (e.g. you are under 18 or the delivery address is not a location to which the Vendor delivers).

Where we accept your order on behalf of the Vendor, IVALO.COM will confirm such acceptance by sending an email (Order Confirmation email). The Order Confirmation Email will include a description of the Product(s) ordered and an order summary. You acknowledge that having selected the ‘Pay Now’ button for the ordered Product(s) you enter into an obligation to pay for the Product(s) once your order is accepted. Then we will send you a second email to inform you the Product has been despatched by the Vendor (Dispatch Confirmation Email). Where you order from more than one Vendor, you will receive as many Dispatch Confirmation Emails as the number of different Vendors dispatching the Products selected in the order.

Contract of Sale

The Contract between you and the Vendor of the ordered Products will only be formed when we send you the Acceptance Confirmation Email and collect the payment. After entering into the Contract, the Vendor will be under a legal obligation to supply you with goods that conform to the Contract. The Contract will relate only to those Products which IVALO.COM has confirmed in the Acceptance Confirmation Email. The relevant Vendor will not be obliged to supply any additional Product(s) which may have been part of your order. Whilst Vendors will use reasonable endeavours to carry sufficient stock, if your order includes any Product(s) not available in stock or which have been discontinued once payment has been taken, IVALO.COM will refund accordingly the unavailable Product(s), and send a curated email suggesting suitable alternatives.

The relevant Vendor(s) will deliver your order by the delivery date(s) set out in the Despatch Confirmation Email, or, if no delivery date(s) is/are specified, then within 30 days after the date of the Despatch Confirmation Email, unless there are exceptional circumstances. Your order will be delivered to the delivery address you specify when placing your order. 

Please note that the delivery times set out in the Despatch Confirmation Email are estimates unless otherwise specified and cannot be guaranteed as the Products will be delivered to you directly by our Vendors. IVALO.COM will not be liable for any losses caused as a result of a delay in delivery. For further information regarding the delivery of your Order, please refer to the relevant Vendor's Shipping Policy displayed on the Product page and on the Checkout page. Different Vendors have restrictions on where they will deliver Products. Please be aware that couriers and other delivery companies will generally not be responsible for any additional carrying, unpacking or positioning of Products. If you order a large, heavy or bulky Product, you are advised to check that its dimensions (allowing for packaging) will allow it to pass freely through the doorways and corridors of the delivery address.

International Orders

Should you order Products from a Vendor in another country, these may be inspected by Custom authorities and subject to import duties and taxes levied when the delivery reaches the specified

destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. IVALO.COM will notify you during the check-out process if import duties are included and, if we are aware of this, whether you may have to pay them. Please note that neither IVALO.COM nor the Vendors have any control over these charges, and we are not always able to predict the amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

Please note in the event you wish to return an item, the import duties originally included in the purchase price (i.e. in the amount you paid) will be refunded, if they were not included and you paid them to the customs office, then you will be responsible for claiming the duty directly from your local customs office.

It is essential that you comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the Products are destined. Neither IVALO.COM nor any of the Vendors will be held liable for any breach by you of any such laws.

Risk and Title

Products ordered will be held at your risk from the time of delivery or collection (as the case may be). The Ownership of the Products ordered will also pass from the Vendor to you upon delivery or collection, provided full payment of all sums due in respect of the Products, including any delivery charges, has been received.

Price and Payment

The price of Products is as displayed on the Site. Prices include the tax of sales at a rate depending on your delivery address, however, exclude delivery costs. Delivery costs will be automatically added (in the cost shown) within the checkout page once the Product(s) have been added to the shopping bag. Please note that delivery costs will vary depending on the Products that have been ordered and the delivery address.

Prices and delivery costs can change at any time; however, changes will not affect orders where we have already sent a Despatch Confirmation Email for the Product(s) concerned. The Site contains a large number of Products and it is always possible that, despite best efforts, some of the Products listed on the Site may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices on behalf of the Vendors as part of our despatch procedures. Where a Product's correct price is less than the stated price on the Site, we will charge you the lower amount. If a Product's correct price is higher than the price stated on the Site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before despatching the Product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection. If IVALO.COM cancels your order after payment has been taken, we shall reimburse you for the cancelled Product(s).

IVALO.COM will not charge your credit or debit card (or account) until your order has been accepted by the Vendor. Your card or account will be debited at the time you receive notification that your order has been accepted in an Acceptance Confirmation Email. Please be aware that online payment transactions are subject to validation checks by your card issuer. IVALO.COM is not responsible if your card issuer fails to authorise payment for any reason. If your payment is not authorised, the Internet purchase process will be immediately cancelled.

Your online transaction is also subject to our acceptance and we reserve the right to refuse to process your payment and order due to suspected fraud or unauthorised or illegal activity. We also reserve the right to refuse to ship to certain addresses due to suspected fraud or unauthorized or illegal activity.

Please note, it is possible that your card issuer may charge you an online handling fee or processing fee. This is entirely at the discretion of your card issuer and IVALO.COM has no say in the matter.

Payment Service Provider

Paytrail Plc acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized Payment Institution. Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant. For reclamations, please contact the website the payment was made to.

Vendors' responsibility for Products sold on IVALO.COM

Should you encounter any problems whilst making a purchase through IVALO.COM, please raise the issue via IVALO.COM Customer Care, where the Vendor will be directly notified. Please note, IVALO.COM cannot be held responsible for Vendors' Products, orders, deliveries, guarantees or after care.

Consumer Rights and Refunds

- Right of cancellation

Except in relation to certain Products which cannot be returned as explained below, you may cancel a Contract at any time before your order is delivered and up to 14 days afterwards, beginning on the day after complete fulfilment of your order. To exercise your right of cancellation, please contact IVALO.COM Customer Care and we will liaise with the relevant Vendor on your behalf. You must also return the Product(s) to the Vendor within 14 days after the day of notifying us of the cancellation, in the same condition in which you receive them (which does not interfere with your right to take any reasonable steps to examine the Products and make sure they conform to your order). You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the Products while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right to deduct the cost of any deterioration, up to the price of the Product, from the refund to which you are otherwise entitled.

- Faulty or damaged Products

If any Product you order is damaged or faulty when delivered, the Vendor may offer an appropriate solution in accordance with your legal rights. If you believe a Product was delivered damaged or faulty, you must inform IVALO.COM Customer Care, as soon as possible and we will liaise with the relevant Vendor on your behalf. We will also explain how to return the faulty or damaged Product(s).

In certain circumstances, you may not be entitled to a refund for certain Products, for example

if the Products are perishable or if they have been personalised. Please read the relevant Vendor's Returns Policy on the Product page carefully for your rights to cancel an order for a particular Product.

- Returns Process

IVALO.COM is pleased to offer you a free shipping label for your returns. Please do not send your returns to IVALO.COM's address. Returns should be made directly to the relevant Vendors. 

Please ensure that all Products are returned in the same condition in which they were received, which means that they have not been used, worn, washed, modified or damaged (unless reported to us as faulty or damaged) and they have all tags still attached and in their original package.

For further information on how to return an order, please refer to the Customer Service site. IVALO.COM is pleased to offer its customers free returns.

- Refund process

If a refund is authorised by the Vendor, IVALO.COM will reimburse your payment as soon as possible within 14 days after the day on which the Vendor confirms their receipt of the returned Product(s) in the same condition as when delivered. Otherwise, the Vendor and IVALO.COM reserve the right to refuse the refund. We will, on behalf of the Vendor, refund the price of the Products in full (subject to any deduction the Vendor is entitled to make due to your use of or damage to the Products, if applicable) in accordance with the relevant Vendor's Returns Policy, located on the Product page. Refunds will be processed using the same method originally used to pay for your purchase. Please note due to banking policies the refund process may exceed 14 days. Nothing in this section affects your legal rights.

Product Information

Whilst Vendors will take reasonable steps to portray Products as accurately as possible through the photographs and other images featured on the Site, neither we nor the Vendors cannot guarantee that descriptions are totally accurate, complete, reliable or error-free. The detailing (such as colour, pattern and texture, etc.) you see on-screen will depend on your monitor and, as such, and may not exactly reflect the actual detailing of a Product when you receive it. The images of the Products on the Site are for illustrative purposes only.

If you are in any doubt as to the details of any Product, we recommend that you contact us prior to placing an order (see Contacting us).

Our liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude IVALO.COM's or any of the Vendor's

from liability:

We only provide our Site for domestic and private use. The Products sold by the Vendors are also supplied for the purpose of domestic and private use. Subject to this, in no event shall IVALO.COM or any Vendor be liable for any business losses that include, but is not limited to, loss of profit, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

Any liability we do incur for loss or damage suffered arising from any order shall not exceed the purchase price of the relevant Products and is strictly limited to losses that were directly attributable to our conduct in violation of these Terms and Conditions and reasonably foreseeable. Losses are foreseeable where they could be contemplated by you and IVALO.COM at the time your order is accepted by IVALO.COM. Please remember the IVALO.COM is an online platform to bring together buyers and sellers. We are not a Vendor ourselves. Vendors remain responsible under applicable law for the Products sold through the Site.

Neither IVALO.COM nor any Vendor will be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of any obligations under any order that is caused by an unforeseeable and unsurmountable behaviour of a third party not involved in these Terms and Conditions or by events outside our reasonable control such as, but not exclusively, act(s) of God, wars, terrorist attacks, embargos, riots, interruption of transport, natural disasters, insurrection, social disturbances or strikes of any kind.

We or, where applicable, the Vendor, will make our best effort to inform you of such event outside our reasonable control. If this suspension continues beyond fifteen days, you would then have the possibility of terminating an ongoing order and be refunded.

Governing law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Finnish law (excluding its choice of law provisions), and you agree that any dispute between you and IVALO.COM regarding them or the Site will only be dealt with by the Finnish courts. Nothing shall prevent us from bringing proceedings to protect our intellectual property rights before any competent court. 

If you encounter difficulties in relation to the ordering or delivery of the Products, you have the possibility, before any court action, of seeking an amicable solution, notably with the assistance of a trade association or any other advisor of your choice. 

If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the Customer (provided he/she is a consumer) can submit the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi) for resolution. Before taking the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the Customer should contact the Consumer Advisory Service (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi).

These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement between you the Customer and IVALO.COM in relation to the subject matter of each Contract as between you and us. Please remember that when entering into an agreement for particular Products, any applicable Vendor terms and conditions, shipping policies and refund policies on the applicable Product page shall also apply. No other Terms or Conditions apply in relation to any Contract.

Your right to use the Site is personal, and you may not transfer or assign any of your rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions to a third party. If any part of these Terms and Conditions is unenforceable for any reason, then it will be removed, and the remaining terms will survive. If we fail to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions, or delay in doing so, we do not waive our right to do so.

These Terms and Conditions may not be changed by you unless we agree in writing.

All notices given by you to us must be given in writing to the address set out at IVALO.COM Customer Care page. We may give notice to you at either the email or postal address you provide to us when placing an order.
