Vanilla Sand

Vanilla Sand

Vanilla Sand has its roots in Germany and Portugal. The sustainable swimwear brand was born in 2018 when the

founder of Vanilla Sand Corinna Dickenbrok was in Lisbon.

Corinna had previously done her thesis on sustainable fashion in different cultures. She was interested in doing business in the industry with like-minded people. While in Portugal, she discovered the first family-owned factory for Vanilla Sand, and the partnership and story began.

Vanilla Sand wants to support local artisans. It collaborates with Portuguese and Brazilian manufacturers who speak the same language. For Vanilla Sand comfortable and safe working conditions are important as well as production precision.

Vanilla Sand's products are made from the most natural and recycled materials for leisure time for a modern lifestyle.

Thanks to local suppliers, Vanilla Sand is able to produce its products from sketches to clothes in a couple of months instead of a standard of 12-18 months. Vanilla Sand's collections are deliberately designed and produced in small batches. The brand aims for minimal stocking and always wants to sell out.
