Granelito

Granelito manufactures soft cotton clothes and accessories primarily for the little ones in the family. Granelito's range includes responsible baby clothes, booties, beanies, as well as products for older children and even mothers.

Granelito believes in high-quality and comfortable clothing that promotes movement and play both in everyday life and on special occasions. Granelito values usability without compromising on design and aesthetics.

The story of Granelito begins when the brand's founders, Moa and Miguel, met on a bench in Brooklyn, New York, in 2013. Together, they began selling unused clothing from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, sourced from Moa's grandparents' shoe and clothing store stock in the Swedish countryside.

As an illustrator and designer, Moa had always dreamed of fully utilizing her creativity. Miguel, born in Peru, had been involved in his family's Pima cotton business his entire life.

For Miguel, it was very natural to start manufacturing baby and children's clothing from soft cotton fiber, to which he had a strong connection since childhood.

In 2018, Granelito was founded in Brooklyn, where the couple lived until 2021 when they moved to Gothenburg. Granelito is a loving tribute to their roots and cultures, with Moa's Swedish and Miguel's Peruvian heritage at the heart of the company.

By combining their two worlds, they have created a unique fusion of Scandinavian elegance and Peruvian craftsmanship with truly high-quality materials such as Pima cotton.
