Iris Hantverk

Iris Hantverk

As early as the end of the 1900s, small brushes began to be made by visually impaired craftsmen in Stockholm. The business journey has continued to this day, with Richard Sparrenhök and Sara Edhäll running Iris Hantverk since 2012.

Visually impaired craftsmen from different cultures in Sweden and Estonia produce high quality brushes and stylish home products in an ethical production process in the Swedish craft tradition.

Handmade is a matter of honour and full of meaning for Iris Hantverk.

Iris Hantverk believes in traditional manufacturing, the skilled techniques of its craftsmen and Scandinavian design combined with the quality of natural materials and an authentic feel.

According to Iris Hantverk, their special products have an added dimension and value when made by visually impaired workers.

Each of Iris Hantverk's traditional brushes is made mainly from natural materials. Timeless and durable, these natural products are beautiful everyday objects and make excellent gifts for anyone.
