Get to know ÄRNI BLUM

ÄRNI BLUM (formerly known as NirgiWabrik) was initiated in 2017 by the knitting hobby of its founder Johanna.

NirgiWabrik made stylish knitted headwear, such as super-popular headbands, bohemian turbans, and trendy beanies from luxury yarns.

Johanna's friends realized the potential and pushed her to expand her collection and business. Perfect materials from Italy and Japan combined with ÄRNI BLUM's unique sense of style and lovely colors couldn't go wrong!

NirgiWabrik was renamed after Johanna's grandfather ÄRNI BLUM - the brand started to grow and the range of elegant knitwear increased.

Today, ÄRNI BLUM creates stunning designer knitwear for women, men, and children - locally handcrafted in Saaremaa.

Made to Order

ÄRNI BLUM's knitted sweaters and accessories are mainly made to order.

Made-to-order/pre-order means manufacturing a product according to a customer's order, thereby avoiding waste of resources and overproduction.

For ÄRNI BLUM, made-to-order manufacturing is a responsibility that also adds to the uniqueness of each piece. When knitwear is made to order by size, material requirements can be accurately determined and minimized.

However, if there is any surplus, ÄRNI BLUM's production creatively combines the waste material with other products.
