Ethno traces the roots of The Knotty Ones' Baltic culture, with intricate tonal symbols traditionally used to keep you balanced and in harmony. Inspired by unique Baltic ethnographic patterns, it's perfectly oversized and promises to keep you twice as cozy. Ethno's made from alpaca wool sourced from social farms in Peru. The Knotty Ones haven't used any chemical dyes: those colors are the actual alpaca shades. Fluffy, fuzzy and impossibly warm, Ethno's prolonged sleeves are the final cherry on top. This genderless knit was designed as part of The Knotty Ones' collaboration with their fav Lithuanian designer, Eglė Žiemytė.
100% Undyed alpaca wool (mulesing-free)
Please note that this knit is extra oversized and we recommend to size down. The sweater is wide in all sizes, and the biggest difference between sizes is the length and sleeve length.

10€ Towards Your Knitter's Dream. What's that?
The Knotty Ones was started with the dream to provide stable jobs, fair wages, and financial independence to women, mostly stay-at-home moms in rural areas of Lithuania, who otherwise would not have these opportunities in life.
The brand makes sure that their knitters earn enough to provide themselves and their families with the basics of a decent life — be it a warm meal on their dinner table, school supplies for their kids, medical care, clothing, paying electricity bills, or housing. While they wish they could increase knitters' salaries beyond just a fair wage, the reality of operating a small independent label with design, marketing, and premium material costs does not necessarily allow them to do so.
The Knotty Ones wanted to create a platform that gave knitters a realistic shot at achieving their bigger, wilder dreams.
Now with each purchase, you can choose to donate €10 directly towards a dream of a woman who made your knit. If you wish to do so, you can choose to add a €10 donation to your purchase. It will go directly towards making these dreams come true. If you rather not, that's totally cool too. We are super grateful for helping create stable jobs and incomes for women.
