The Denim Waste shirt takes its name from the recycled denim used to manufacture it, even though it is lighter than denim. This shirt is of comfortable, minimalist design. This shirt has a straight cut and is slim-fit. The collar is lightly starched and the cuffs have buttons. The front of the shirt has a placket and the back has a box pleat. This unisex model is sold using men’s measurements. Women should choose one size smaller than usual.
Two billion pairs of jeans are made worldwide annually. This consumes over three billion meters of denim. A by-product of this is 450 million meters of unused denim cutting waste. Compared to an equivalent product made from virgin materials, making a shirt from recycled materials uses 99% less water and generates 50% fewer CO2 emissions.
This T-shirt has been responsibly manufactured in India.
• 55 % recycled cotton
• 45 % recycled polyester
Please note that our recycling process is not entirely clinical and our products may contain small amounts of different colored fibers. In dark colors, fibers of different colors do not stand out, but in light colors, they are more easily visible. For us, these little colored fibers in our fabric are a feature that reminds us of the uniqueness and origin of our products.
