Solid Gold
- 24k gold is 99,5% gold | is pure gold but it’s too soft and susceptible to scratches, so it’s not practical for everyday use.
- 18k gold is 75% gold
- 14k gold is 58.3% gold
- 10k gold is 41,7% gold
Pure gold is very flexible and yellow in color, so mixing it with other materials strengthens the gold, making it more appropriate for use in jewelry pieces.
